I thoroughly enjoyed my great 2 nights in this hotel. Everyone was welcoming, including the owner. The property's location in the middle of the city was magnificent. I also recommend stopping by Quay Cafe next door for some coffee and treats.

Location: the hotel was next to shops, restaurants, the local shops and the beach. Welcoming staff made our stay really lovely. Our modern and tastefully decorated room included extremely comfy bed, an electric kettle, climate control and an iron.

Great spot for a wedding! The rooms are really nicely decorated and they even have a cool terrace. They serve a continental breakfast, which was nice. 🌞 The staff here are really friendly and gave us some good recommendations. it was a lovely stay!

We booked a last-minute New Year getaway and Thistledene in Braunton was perfect. The self-contained, dog-friendly room was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable bed. The room also had tea/coffee facilities, a toaster, and a fridge. It was conveniently located near all the places we wanted to visit. The owners were friendly and provided great food recommendations. We would love to come back to this cute and cozy place.

My recent stay at Thistledene in Braunton was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable super-king bed that provided a great night's sleep. I loved the small kitchenette area with a fridge, kettle, and coffee machine, easy to enjoy a cozy breakfast in the room. The location was also ideal, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. I was impressed by the attention to detail, including fresh milk in a glass bottle and high-quality tea and coffee. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

The room was nicely decorated with a comfy bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The location was convenient, close to the places we wanted to visit and a short drive to the wedding venue. Parking on the drive was convenient as well.

There were a few shortcomings during our stay. We found that there was a lack of supplies like milk, tea, coffee, shower gel, and shampoo.
